The 20th ESCON Transfer of Knowledge Conference will take place at the Cologne University campus from September 2nd to September 5th, 2018.

We are happy to announce Dedre Gentner (Northwestern University) and Jeff Sherman (UC Davis) as keynote speakers.

ESCON's main aim is to promote European research collaboration in social cognition. The annual conferences are particularly instrumental for building cutting edge collaborative research programs as well as for the training, promotion, and networking of junior researchers.

ESCON is currently between funding programs. This means that in order to make ESCON 2018 possible, we cannot pay for accommodation. However, we will have only a nominal registration fee; and depending on the additional funding we may acquire, there is a chance that there will be no registration fee and lunch and dinners will be included. Participants are asked to self-organize their accommodations. Please find suggestions for budget housing in the Logistics section. If you plan to attend, make sure to make reservations early!

Everyone who self-identifies as a social cognition researcher was encouraged to Submit their work for presentation by March 15th, 2018 (deadline expired). PhD candidates developing cutting-edge research are encouraged to apply to the Best Paper Award.

We are looking forward to welcoming you in Cologne!
